Exporting entities

Entities can be exported directly from the document area via the shortcut menu. You can select and export multiple entities at the same time.

note

Entities can be exported with or without encryption, note however that entities that are subject to data protection can only be exported as encrypted.

To export entities (without encryption)

1. Select the entity (or entities) that you want to export.
2. Right-click and select Export (plain). The entities are saved as an .ieo file in the folder specified in your browser settings.

To export entities (with encryption)

Entities exported as encrypted can only be accessed if you provide the correct password.

1. Select the entity (or entities) that you want to export.
2. Right-click and select Export (encrypted). A dialog box opens.
3. Enter a password for the encryption, and click OK. The entities are saved as an encrypted  .ieo file in the folder specified in your browser settings.
