Integration scenario

An integration scenario is a view of a defined functionality in the architecture. When building an integration scenario, it is important to consider the design on four different levels. Ideally, the integration scenario should be visualized early in the integration process – long before the implementation.

📄️ System level

The system level provides a high-level view of the applications and systems involved in the integration.

📄️ Scenario level

The scenario level shows the "on-ramp" and "off-ramp" stages in more detail.

📄️ Process level

The Process level provides a detailed view of all executing units (Components) in the integration flow.

📄️ Topology level

The Topology level shows the implementation on a server level.
