Node type

A Node type is a description of the information that is in a Node. Node types let you group and classify information and information flows, and control the processing of the data in a Node using Event configurations. The Node types also facilitate the task of separating files containing an attachment from the attachments themselves. You can associate a stylesheet with a Node type to visualize the contents of the Nodes.

| Icons | IEntityImage (internal type) | Icons to be used for the Node type. Icons are added or removed in the property dialog. Allowed icon sizes are 16x16, 24x24, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64 and 128x128. |
| Internet media type | String | The Internet media type of the Node type (formerly known as MIME type). This property is used when the Node content is accessed via iCore Administrator. If the property has not been specified manually, it will be automatically set based on the selected file class (provided that the file class is associated with a media type). |
| ID | Guid | The entity ID of the Node type. Automatically generated by the system. |
| Modified | DateTime | Date and time of the latest modification of the Node type. Automatically generated by the system. |
| Name | String | Name of the Node type. |
| Stylesheet | INodeTypeStyleSheet (internal type) | Stylesheet to be used when viewing the Nodes of the Node type. For more information, see Display Node Content Using Stylesheet. |
| System Internal | Boolean | Specifies whether the entity is a built-in system entity (True) or a customized application entity created to meet the requirements of the business flows (False). A system entity is read-only and cannot be deleted since it may be used by system script(s). New system entities can only be added by certified iCore personnel. |
